A DOLLAR-A-DAY

What can you buy for a dollar? One third of a cup of coffee? Half a cheeseburger? HON's dollar-a-day campaign challenges supporters to put aside - you guessed it - one dollar a day (or $365 a year). Those small gold coins go a long way to help meet the basic needs of disadvantaged kids in Sri Lanka - and who knows, it might even be good for your waistline! To get involved, contact us by email and one of our team members will get in touch with you as soon as possible!

CHANGE FOR CHANGE

HON is all about driving change. Even the smallest difference is a difference worth making, which is why we have launched "change for change". Your small change (even those 5 and 10 cents coins!) can make a big change in the lives of children in need. This is a great way for kids to get involved by collecting their spare change in a till. If you would like a special "Change for change" jar for this purpose, please contact us by email and one of our team members will get in touch with you as soon as possible!

SEW CONNECTED

Sew Connected is a weekly event at which you can learn to sew skirts and dresses in a fun environment, which are then sent to orphans in Sri Lanka through the Christmas Gift Project. Sew Connected is held every Wednesday during school terms from 10am-12.30pm at the C3 Church Carlingford Ministry Centre (7 loftus Rd Pennant Hills). For more information, click here

VOLUNTEER

Anyone can get involved in HON as a volunteer. There are opportunities to volunteer on the ground in Sri Lanka, as part of our administrative team, as sewers, fundraisers, gift packers and more! If you'd like to find out more about how you can get involved, contact us!

GET INVOLVED

Through the generous support of sponsors, HON currently facilitates the funding of several projects in Sri Lanka.

SPONSORSHIP

The annual Packing Day provides a hands-on way to get involved in the Gift Project. Each year, hundreds of individuals come together at the Carlingford High School Hall to pack thousands of gifts for orphaned and disadvantaged children across Sri Lanka. It's a fantastic opportunity for everyone, from kids right through to grown ups, to get involved in making a difference through something real and tangible.
