April 2007 - Opening of new Girls' Home

The new Home in Akkarapattu was opened on 22^nd April 2007, to coincide with a visit by representatives of the Ragala Aid Project that is funding construction. HON has released funds for the outfitting of the establishment to accommodate 30 girls, and will commence sponsorship once the girls are in residence in May 2007.
