Help Orphans Now is a not-for-profit, voluntary organization created to assist disadvantaged and orphaned children in Sri Lanka reach their full potential, irrespective of their race or religion.
Help Orphans Now aims to: • provide for their physical, educational and emotional needs • protect them in a secure, caring environment • empower them to become valuable members of their communities and country. Help Orphans Now has been active since 2005 and has facilitated the establishment of several orphanages in response to the needs of children in crisis following the Boxing Day 2004 tsunami and more recently, the resettlement of children who were internally displaced persons (IDP) following the end of the civil war in Sri Lanka.
